Directions to CMU campus/OCR workshop:

I'm assuming most of you will be using shuttle or taxi service to get from the Pittsburgh Airport to your hotel and the same from hotel to the CMU campus. Most taxi drivers in the Pittsburgh area will know how to get to the Oakland area from the airport (btw - there is some road construction going on in the Oakland area that complicates navigating through the area), and with the provided hotel addresses below, you should not have a problem getting to your hotel.

Directions: In general, you want to go to 5000 Forbes Avenue - the address of the CMU campus. Entrance to campus will be from Forbes Avenue, to Newell-Simon Hall - 1st floor, Room# 1507 the location of the workshop.

There is a great deal of construction going on in and around the Newell-Simon Hall area due the new Gates-Hillman Complex being constructed for the Computer Science Department. When you approach Newell-Simon Hall, there is a construction fence in front of the building, but you can still access the front entrance
